No Wise Man Ever Dared ... To Enter My Realm

***This album was made to be listened to on headphones in a quiet atmosphere.***

This album is the culmination of 35 years of trying to compose and put together a few tunes following the footsteps of my musical hero Mike Oldfield. Inspired by his latest release in 2017 I created the main track as a string of intertwining musical themes. The additional tracks are in part build on ideas that originated about 25 to 30 years ago and only came to real fruition in the last year.
I've been working on this album for half a year now and I hope it reflects my musical upbringing as a child of the seventies and eighties and to the other part in my eclectic musical taste that ranges from Oldfield to Jarre, from Prince to MJ, from Gershwin to Sheeran, from John Williams to the Chieftains ... well you get the drift.
As I am not a multi-instrumentalist or even a guitarist myself, I played all the instruments on midi keyboards and pads. The quality of today's in-the-box virtual instruments finally has reached the level of authenticity that I felt comfortable enough to produce and share this album.

As stated above, some melodies date back about 25 years, while others e.g. the main 30 minute track originated this year (with some seasoning from older compositions of mine). Since I began to make music again 5 years ago I drifted to this album very slowly ... my first release, the EP NOW on the blend.io label gave me the confidence that others might actually like the music I make ... and if you do can download it here first.
